The IMO has decided to proceed with the early introduction of EEDI Phase 3, a CO2 emission regulation prevent global warming. Measures reduce emissions for ships that can be applied immediately are required achieve reduction. We set six different scenarios according type ship and fuel, designed monoethanolamine-based capture process using rate-based model Aspen Plus v10. simulation was validated pilot plant operation data. A inevitably tilts during operation, performance tilted column decreases as its height increases. When configuring conventional process, we considered heights were so high degradation unavoidable when implemented on ship. parallel concept lower enable easy installation Simulations confirmed lowered less than 3 TEU (7.8 m).
